The base is caprylic/capric triglyceride and sunflower oil. Two of the lowest comedogenic oils in skincare. Sugar-based emulsifiers rinse them completely off with water. Nothing stays behind to clog a pore.

Plant oils dissolve oil-based things like makeup, SPF, sebum, and long-wear formulas the way water cleansers physically cannot. Foundation, waterproof mascara, eyeliner, and matte lipstick all break down when you massage this over dry skin.

For a heavy makeup day or 50+ SPF, one pass usually clears it. If you want to be thorough, do a second pass. Massage, rinse, repeat.

For most days, no. One pass removes makeup, SPF, and the day's grime in a single round.

The exceptions: stage makeup, very heavy sunscreen, or days when you have sweated a lot. For those, a quick second pass picks up anything the first missed.

This cleanser is gentle enough that double-cleansing does not strip your skin the way two separate cleansers often can.

It is dermatologically tested, free of sulfates and harsh surfactants, and uses chamomile extract to actively calm reactive skin while it cleanses. No added fragrance beyond the soft notes from the botanical ingredients.

Customers with rosacea, eczema, and general reactivity have used it morning and night without flare-ups. If your skin is very reactive, patch test on your jawline for two or three nights before going full face.

Yes, to remove eye makeup. Massage gently over the eye area with your eyes closed. The oil dissolves mascara, eyeliner, and shadow without stinging. Rinse with water when you are done.

Avoid direct contact with the eye itself. If any gets in, rinse with clean water. Contact lens wearers should remove their lenses before cleansing.

Yes. The formula contains zero retinoids, no salicylic acid, and no essential oils that are contraindicated during pregnancy.

The actives are all pregnancy-friendly: organic sunflower oil, chamomile, sea buckthorn, cloudberry, glycerin, and vitamin E. Gentle cleansing ingredients, nothing more.
